Launching the CD release at Sardi's in New York, Elizabeth gave a reading of the poem within the tale, The Conqueror Worm. WEBSITE LINKS: www.vincentpricelegacy.uk/ w...

Co*Star was a series of records produced in the late-1950s where you got to act in scenes from popular plays and movies with some of Hollywood's big name stars. In this short video, London DJ Jai Rathbone plays opposite the legendary Vincent Price in a scene from Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. READ MORE: www.thesoundofvincentprice.com/costar/

Revash, Chachapoyas, Peru

The 13th-century burial site of Revash is made out of limestone carved out of a cliff-face. Another site that takes 2hrs to get to from Chachapoyas, but well worth the trip

These elaborately moulded, 12th-century earthenware sarcophagi are located high in a cliff at Carajia (also known as Karajia), near Luya. Well worth the two hour drive.
Kuelap, Chachapoyas, Peru

The unrestored ruin of Kuelap in the Chachapoyas region of northern Peru is one the most outstanding pre-Inca sites in the country. Discovered in 1843, the fortress city dates back to 600AD and is said to be the site of rebel Inca Manco's last ditch stand against the conquistadors in the late 1530s.

The landscape on the way to Aguas Calientes (the service town to Machu Picchu) is wonderful, unless the price of using Perurail, which has a monopoly on taking visitors to the site.

Is This The Worst-Ever Rendition of the Theme Tune to Barbarella?
Creepy Cliff Richard puppet singing a song threatening his partner with assault on a kids' TV show.
That was so wonderful yet sad at the same time. Thank you.
This is one of our favourite songs. We really like it so much. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Thunderbirds was a big part of my childhood... this is great !
"Mars will go to war" Yeah, these lyrics mean the male sex, but who'd'a thought Mars, the planet, would be waging war with Earth in _Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons?!_
and the Shadows Jr
Thank you very much
I'd been really impressed with his movies when I first saw them, but missed out on the centenary celebrations in 2013 due to other stuff going on in my life. Thank you for making this record of the centenary exhibit.
Wish they would have given some credit to the Shadows and introduced as Cliff Richards jr and the shadows. Also wonder what happened to the the puppets.
Shouldnt it be cliff richard iv since this was supose to be 100 years into the future
I don’t know. They didn’t know he’d be a Bachelor Boy until his dying day. (See what I did there?)
MAMA MIA!!!!
Thanks for this video. I am more interested in Bert's Chilli recipe from Ransom for a Dead Man. Columbo ate it with crackers!
And Bob Monkhouse doing the intro.
My favourite part of the thunderbirds movie
Serve toasted with whipped cream cheese
why the Hell is that film underrated?
A truly fitting tribute to one of the masters of his crafts acting and humanity
I hope Peter's memory and talent is kept alive for another hundred years, at least. And... Christopher Lee as well. 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
It's in the trees!
It’s hard to believe there was once a time when “new” was actually better and when commercials were fun and actually advertising products that inspired desire in people and were worth owning. They can flush all today’s modern cars down the toilet for all I car. I drive nothing but forward look cars. I wish there were a way to go back to that era. The 50’s and early 60’s were our zenith. We’ve been in a downhill spiral since the fins came off the cars
Chrysler shattered the time barrier with the 1957 models! Their 1957-1961 Forward Look cars were the most beautiful cars on the roads. They sent panic into the industry and sent GM back to the drawing boards trying to catch up. It took the until 1959 and by then it was too late. When the fins came off it was all over. The 1962’s were hideous. Hard to believe just a few years earlier they were making works of art.
THANK YOU! for sharing this. Watching on Peter's birthday today
Yummy!!
Followed By Greatest Comedian In The World, Joe Piscopo LOL
Adding beans makes it more of a stew rather than a chili but oh well.
Thanks for sharing! Anything in this book is fantastic
If you actually listen to the lyrics, it's actually pretty threatening Can't believe this was actually for children's ears, and I'm far from woke. No wonder women get abused. Apart from that, the puppetry is of course hilarious and I loved Thunderbirds as a kid of the 70s.
I was listening to it just now. It kind of feels like a foreshadowing of what comes next, and all the opportunities Alan has missed out on with Penelope before that his brothers have enjoyed. All because he is younger.
This is a part of the movie that I can just never forget "A shooting star will shoot you and Mars will for to war "Mars just explodes*" XD
Any information on what this carving is at 1:27 ?
Saw" TA Go!! " back in the 70s. This is probably the campiest scene, BUT no matter how many times I loop this, I love it!!! Thanks for the video!
Martin Fry now owns the suit!
It’s a good thing Cliff Richard and The Shadows’ appearance was in this dream sequence only, otherwise it’d make no sense for any of them to be alive when Thunderbirds is set a CENTURY ahead of when the film came out and when the group were active.
They do say that this is Cliff Richard Junior. Not the rest of the shadows though...
@@TheSmart-CasualGamer I can’t believe the ‘junior’ part went over my head! But yeah, they might as well have not even bothered if they wouldn’t do the same for The Shadows. Also, now that I think about it, look at how young Cliff Richard is here in the year 2066 - it looks like he’s meant to look the same age as he was in 1966; 25 turning 26 in October. That means that if he’s actually meant to be Cliff Richard Junior, his father would’ve had to conceive at nearly a hundred years old! All the more reason they shouldn’t have even bothered.
@@ryanodonovan9497And this style of music was dated even in 1966!
Threatening people way into the C21! Honestly!
This is good. I knew Vincent personally and he would've been proud.
That was F.A.B. Lol
I love this movie so much
I worked in the restaurant business years ago. My personal feelings about chefs is that they act godlike or as if their doctors as if they invented a cure for cancer or something. But in reality they’re just people that follow recipes. I would like to kick the average chef with my steel toe boot right in their vagina. Personally!
Have both Thunderbirds movies on dvd-both are FAB-especially like Cliff jr and The Shadows Shooting Star at the Swinging Star club
They are fully advised and briefed?
so cool, a real honest to goodness music video ca 1966 from a movie in Marionation...
Thank you for this sad reminder of happier days when I visited Often with my parents when we lived in Libya..
Superb
It took Mars 3 verses to launch that guitar And then Cliff Richard just stops and dances on it. Mars: *am I a joke to you?*
😆
I've watched Thunderbirds are Go recently a couple of times and this song has been edited out.And I can't figure out why?
Not sure if you’re being sarcastic but if not then it’s because the song is basically promoting domestic violence with its lyrics.
@@josephhughes1498 I hate it when people try to rewrite history. For good or bad the song does show what people thought acceptable at that time. Here in Oklahoma is a perfect example. There was a brutal, brutal attack and mass murder in Tulsa Oklahoma it totally destroyed part of the city nicknamed Black Wallstreet multigenerational families wiped out. And do you called Oklahoma history called this event? The Tulsa Riots. It took until 2020 for Government and Historians to call it what it was the Tulsa Massacre. And the reason it took so long ? At first it was called a Riot so white insurance companies wouldn't have to pay black business owners and survivors. Later local government didn't want Tulsa seen in a "bad light" so it was swept under the rug. Just because history is uncomfortable sometimes. And history is everywhere. Even in a Thunderbirds movie. Keep the song in but use it to have honest conversation about how things have changed and how things like the Song are not considered normal but at that time were. You can change people's minds by talking about it not by ignoring it and editing out what is uncomfortable.
@@elizabethkizzar5489 Yeah I think it should be kept in too because I actually really like the song despite its message, but I think that even at the time it was crazy to have that song in a thunderbirds film, so I understand why they didn’t want to include it.
Wonderful I've seen the house where he lived with his wife in whitstable on the sea front. Only problem with this video is that you used music from a film in which Peter didn't appear in
It's more about shots of the presenter than this wonderful garden. You get little idea from this video, of it's essence and beauty. Terrible docu.
Excellent work Pete! I love it!!
hi cliff richard
In my top three films of all time. Sublime excellence. Peggy is a treasure and always beautiful.
Mr. Niall was the most PERFECT villain: erudite, cultivated, and charming----just small subtle glimpses of the dangerous man, heading a violent cult.... A restrained and marvelous character study of beautiful acting....!!!
